Christmas Recap 2022

Happy Holidays! Today I am sharing a Holiday recap! We celebrate Christmas in our home and it has been a while since I’ve blogged. My goal moving forward is to stick to more recaps of my life. I love to use this space for memories.

I wanted to start off this post by sharing some of my holiday decorations! You are going to see someone random objects in these photos because they are not stagged.

My husband’s cousin asked me if I wanted to host Christmas brunch this year. She does it every year and has asked me in the past and I’ve always declined. I stepped out of my comfort zone this year and said yes! The photo below is me “stagging” my island so I could get an idea of what would fit. I’ve only hosted events at my home once or twice so I’m rough around the edges when it comes to hosting.

On Christmas Eve we always have dinner and exchanged gifts at my in-laws. I did not take any photos except for the dessert. It was a lovely relaxing time. I did take some photos of how I wrapped gifts. I crocheted hand towels, dish clothes and scubbies for gifts. My husband and I also made pine scented candles.

On Christmas day we hosted brunch. I also did not get any photos. I wanted to get photos of the setup but I was too busy. It was a lovely time as well and I loved hosting and having family in our home. I think I’ll do this more often. My husband and I also made candles for the guests. The food was a hit and it was so nice.

Since Christmas landed on a Sunday we had off the next day which was nice because I slept a lot. Now onto New Years 🎉 Happy Holidays.

Thanks for reading!
