Labor Day Weekend Recap

Happy belated Labor Day weekend. I hope you enjoyed the three day weekend because you deserve it!

I started the weekend celebrations on Friday because I got out of work early. I needed a pick me up so I made some espresso and almond milk 😋

Friday night was such a night relaxing evening. The weather was perfection.

I snapped a bunch of pictures of Millie relaxing on Saturday morning. She is adorable 😍

The weekend also consisted of lots of yummy foods. We randomly decided to stop while running errands to get some pretzels and sonic slush drinks.

My husband and I did lots of relaxing and playing video games. I wore my sparkly pink Keds the whole weekend ✨ because why not?

Sunday I did my usual yoga class. I also decided to do a 30 day yoga challenge which I will share later.

My cousin is getting married this month and I purchased this dress off Amazon. I went to DSW to try and find shows but I was unable to find any. The shoes I am wearing, I was going to declutter because I’ve had them for years and never worn them. I decided to keep them and I am wearing them to the wedding.

My in-laws had a BBQ at their house on Sunday also which was very nice. The only photo I took was of dessert 🍨😋

I told myself I wasn’t going to buy any pumpkin spiced coffee until it was actually Autumn but I gave in. I got a pumpkin cream cold brew and it was delicious. I also got some pumpkin creamer from the grocery store. Oops 😬

To end the holiday weekend I came up with the idea of doing a cognac taste test. My husband likes cognac and has six bottles. So we did a little taste test of each bottle. It gave me a little buzz.

Does anybody fall for products based on the packaging? I’m a sucker for pretty packages. I purchased this rose because of how cute the bottle is. It was good but a little too sweet for me. I’m gonna keep and display the bottle.

That’s my Labor Day weekend recap 😎 it was a nice relaxing weekend. It took me a while to get this post up. I currently have family up from out of state because my cousin is getting married.
