Roasted Chickpeas|A Simple Delicious Recipe

A simple quick recipe that is great for snacking or as a salad topping. Enjoy!

I love roasted chickpeas 😋 and make them every weekend for the week ahead. They are delicious and packed with essential amino acids that oir bodies need. I usually eat them on top of a salad or as a small snack on the side.

I am all about simple recipes and this is about as simple as it gets! No measuring required! Do you like roasted chickpeas? Have you ever tried them? Comment below and I hope you enjoy this simple delicious recipe.

Ingredients:

Two cans of chickpeas (garbanzos)

Black pepper

Garlic powder

Onion powder

Smoked paprika

I always rinse my chickpeas prior to seasoning them and roasting them.

Drain as much water as possible and place in an empty bowl. Then go to town with seasoning! I do not measure any of the seasoning and I like to go overboard with them. I like a lot of seasoning on my chickpeas. Once I seasoned them I mix it all up and sometimes I add even more seasoning.

When it comes to roasting the chickpeas I use my Ninja Foodi. It is very simple. I don’t actually use the roast function but instead I use the air crisp function. So are these roasted or air fried? Whatever you wanna call them 😕❔Turn it on and I use the air crisp setting. It automatically sets the temperature to 375º with a 20 minute set time and I keep it at these settings. I let them cook for 20 minutes and sometimes I stir them after about 15 minutes.

Once they are cooked I let them cool down. Once they are cooled I store them in a container and pop them in the fridge to enjoy throughout the week. Simple and delicious 😋 I hope you enjoy this recipe. Printable version is available below.
